Ever since my PGCE I have been convinced that every Maths topic has a unique and interesting way to be taught. 7 years later and I have collected and created 100s of resources to prove my point. All resources, including IB and A Level, are designed to be thoroughly engaging but yet cover every bit of content required with plenty of practise too. Teach LCM with the life of the Cicada bugs or teach proportions using celebrity faces and the golden ratio. All fully animated engaging powerpoints.

On recognising that a countdown timer in powerpoint does not seem to exist I set myself the challenge of creating one. Done completely through animation these timers can be easily copied and pasted into your own powerpoints. I only made a 5 minute and 1 minute timer for the actual countdown clock. I tried a 1 minute and 2 minute timer using a different method too.

Get students to play naughts and crosses by answering questions you provide. Type your own questions in, reveal questions as students pick them and then place a naught or a cross. If students answer incorrectly then they miss their turn. All cleverly animated to work on the standard PowerPoint software.
